OFSAA Implementation Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented OFSAA Implementation Lead for our client to spearhead end-to-end implementation projects in the financial services industry.
In this critical role, you will leverage your deep expertise in Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) to guide projects from initial data ingestion through to the delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting. You will be instrumental in understanding client-specific regulatory needs, configuring the OFSAA platform, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of OFSAA implementation projects, encompassing data ingestion, data transformation, OFSAA module configuration, and regulatory reporting output.
- Thoroughly assess and document regulatory reporting business requirements, detailing necessary calculations and data transformation logic specific to the OFSAA environment.
- Architect, build, and configure various OFSAA modules, including GL Recon, OFSI (Oracle Financial Services Infrastructure), FSDF (Financial Services Data Foundation), and CAP (Capital Adequacy Planning), to align with client-specific requirements for Basel III and Large Exposure frameworks.
- Effectively manage all phases of requirements gathering, business and gap analysis, solution design, and the creation of comprehensive project documentation for OFSAA initiatives.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and relevant regulatory frameworks such as OSFI, EBA, and CRA throughout the implementation process.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse technical and business teams to optimize data lineage and transformation processes within the OFSAA ecosystem.
- Provide valuable insights into accounting processes, accounting events, and regulatory requirements to facilitate accurate OFSAA configuration and reporting outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive fit-gap assessments from both an OFSAA solution and Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) perspective.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of overall experience working with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).
- Proven implementation experience across various OFSAA modules, including OFSAA Financial Solution Data Foundation (FSDF), OFS Financial Accounting and Reporting Standards (OFS FARR / OFSI), Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), and Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL).
- In-depth understanding of OFSAA architecture and its metadata management framework, including hierarchies and datasets.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling utilizing the Erwin tool, managing data migration activities, and implementing Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) components.
- Expert-level skills in building T2T (Table to Table) mappings and implementing complex data transformations within OFSAA.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in creating Oracle Packages, Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and complex data retrieval using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Solid experience in database design principles, performance tuning of OFSAA processes and queries, development within the OFSAA framework, and seamless integration between OFSAA modules and other systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working within an Agile project methodology.
