About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Adobe Backend Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services supporting Adobe solutions and integrations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a modern tech stack and contribute to impactful digital projects for a leading client. This role requires you to be onsite in Cologne for 2 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs integrating with Adobe platforms and other enterprise systems.
- Develop scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Postgres.
- Design and expose RESTful APIs via Apigee for secure and efficient integrations.
- Collaborate with frontend teams, architects, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and security guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage and Postgres
- Experience with API management solutions, preferably Apigee.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, especially Postgres.
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) are essential. German language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience working in agile development teams is a plus.
