We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) IT Project Manager to lead critical spin-off and IT transformation projects. This is a remote opportunity for a dynamic individual with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT initiatives, particularly within the utilities and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of gas stations, convenience stores, and fuel distribution networks, and will be adept at navigating the challenges of IT separation and transition.
Job Summary:
The Bilingual Project Manager will be responsible for driving the successful execution of IT spin-off activities, ensuring seamless separation and transition of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders across diverse geographies. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Management: Lead and manage IT spin-off projects, ensuring the smooth separation and transition of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with business and IT separation goals.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, providing regular status updates to senior leadership.
- Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies as required.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure alignment and timely execution of project deliverables.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish with stakeholders across different geographies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and productive project environment.
- Technical Execution & Oversight: Oversee data migration, application separation, system integrations, and compliance during the spin-off process.
- Drive business continuity planning to minimize operational disruptions during transition activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to IT security, data privacy, and operational standards.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of the utilities and retail business, particularly in gas stations, convenience stores, and fuel distribution networks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on spin-off activities and IT transformation projects.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong understanding of the utilities and retail sectors, with specific knowledge of gas stations, convenience stores, and fuel distribution networks.
- Experience managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
