Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for forging strong relationships and winning new business? Do you have a successful track record within the Live Events industry and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment?
An established and innovative brand experience agency is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic Show team. This role focuses on targeting and securing new business opportunities across EMEA, working closely with exhibition teams and various internal departments including marketing and sales.
Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect for and build strong relationships with new clients across EMEA (and occasionally further afield)
- Create compelling written proposals, from informal pitch decks to full RFP responses
- Manage and act on generated leads with a strategic approach
- Identify cross-sell opportunities with other service lines within the agency
- Utilise CRM systems (especially Salesforce) effectively to maximise business intelligence and revenue potential
- Uphold the highest standards in all communications—whether verbal, written, or visual
- A minimum of 2 years experience in sales/business development within the Live Events or Exhibition industry.
- Experience of working to targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work occasional weekends as required.
- Fluency to business level (B2 minimum) in German and English.
