We’re currently supporting a leading organisation as they hire a highly experienced Data Architect to join their expanding data team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data specialist to play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale data architecture within a highly complex and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the design and delivery of robust data architectures that align with business objectives
- Develop data governance policies to ensure data integrity, quality, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Build and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, physical) across multiple domains
- Oversee data integration pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise data warehousing solutions
- Act as the SME on sensitive data handling, including consent management, retention, and encryption
- Enable self-service reporting capabilities across business units, empowering users to make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, and other key technical stakeholders
- Proven background designing and delivering enterprise-level data architecture
- Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong technical expertise in ETL, data integration, and warehousing (cloud & on-premise)
- Skilled in database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure or GCP
- Comfortable with sensitive data management (privacy, consent, encryption)
- Experience working with customer data platforms such as Salesforce or similar
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
- Knowledge of integrating ML models and AI into data platforms
- Industry certifications (e.g. CDMP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
