Finance Manager – EMEA Reporting
12-Month Contract
€50–€60 per hour
Amsterdam (Hybrid 2–3 Days Onsite Per Week)

Engagement: ZZP’er or via BV  

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for statutory reporting, compliance, and transformation across multiple EMEA jurisdictions?

Our client, a global technology firm, are seeking a Finance Manager – EMEA Reporting to take full ownership of regional financial reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance for a portfolio of countries across EMEA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end statutory financial reporting across multiple EMEA entities
  • Oversee preparation, review, and approval of local GAAP-compliant financial statements
  • Manage audit processes, partnering with auditors and key internal stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance on US GAAP to local GAAP conversions and complex accounting issues
  • Own corporate income tax compliance, disclosures, deferred tax calculations, and alignment with transfer pricing policies
  • Supervise internal teams or outsourced providers, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Act as the regional compliance lead, managing stakeholder relationships across Accounting, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Finance Ops
  • Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and compliance transformation initiatives across EMEA
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial reporting & compliance within EMEA
  • Strong expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory frameworks
  • Proven track record managing external audits and tax compliance
  • Leadership experience in managing people or outsourced teams
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience driving process improvements or finance transformation
  • Familiarity with Oracle R12 or equivalent ERP systems is a plus
  • Big 4 or multinational experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred)
