We are working with a large, international organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to support UK operations during a period of ongoing business activity and change.
This is a broad, end-to-end HRBP role, partnering closely with business leaders to deliver the UK people strategy while ensuring strong governance, employee relations excellence, and full compliance with UK employment legislation.
The role
As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers across the UK, supporting the full employee lifecycle and delivering practical, commercial HR solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex employee relations cases , including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence and sickness cases
- Ensuring full compliance with UK employment law , internal policies, and governance requirements
- Partnering with leaders to support workforce planning, development, and organisational effectiveness
- Supporting and implementing organisational change initiatives , including restructures and TUPE where required
- Acting as a key interface between the business and wider HR functions such as HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Reward
- Driving policy and process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and risk management
- Proactively identifying people-related risks and working with legal and HR stakeholders to develop mitigation plans
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within the UK
- Strong, hands-on background in employee relations and UK employment law
- Experience supporting organisational change , including restructuring and TUPE
- Comfortable working within a global, matrix-led environment
- Confident partnering with senior leaders and influencing at all levels
- Strong communication skills with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience (preferred)
