We are looking for talented Java Developers to support the development of modern, scalable applications within a global financial services transformation programme. This role focuses on building robust backend systems and APIs that underpin critical banking platforms. You will work within Agile teams delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Develop high-quality, scalable backend applications using Java
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams for integration
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery
  • Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
  • Optimise performance and scalability of applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented cod
  • Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
  • Support testing, deployment, and production releases
 
Requirements
 
  • 4-8 years of Java development experience
  • Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices
  • Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.)
  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Financial services experience (preferred)
