MarkJames Search is proud to be working with a leading global enterprise software provider in the search for a Junior Marketing Assistant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent marketing graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in campaign delivery, event coordination, and demand generation.
The Role
Reporting into the Marketing Director and working closely with senior team members, the Junior Marketing Assistant will support the execution of demand generation activities in the UK and Ireland, with potential for expansion into other regions.
You will help deliver outbound campaigns and events aimed at supporting sales efforts, driving pipeline, and enhancing customer engagement. This position offers valuable exposure to multi-channel B2B marketing in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the rollout of marketing campaigns including email, digital content syndication, events (in-person and virtual), and social media
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support campaign execution and logistics
- Help coordinate and track performance of local and account-specific marketing efforts
- Support the planning and delivery of third-party tradeshows and company-run events
- Manage basic budgeting and vendor processes under guidance
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Account Development teams to align marketing with pipeline goals
- Collect and report on key campaign metrics and contribute to campaign optimisation
Key Skills & Experience
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Up to 1 year of experience in a marketing role (internship, placement year, or entry-level position)
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and/or event coordination
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced, professional marketing environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team and engaging with different stakeholders
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; any exposure to CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp) is a plus
- Positive, proactive mindset with a strong willingness to take initiative and grow
