Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator 
Location: Munich, Germany (3 days per week onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Pay Rate: €750 – €800 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Language Requirements: Fluent English & German (minimum B2)

Overview: We are seeking two experienced SAP Basis Administrators for a long-term contract opportunity based in Munich. This role is critical to the seamless operation, maintenance, and performance tuning of complex SAP landscapes within a dynamic enterprise environment.

You will be joining a collaborative IT function, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and high availability of SAP systems, both on-premise and cloud-based.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuration, administration, and maintenance of SAP landscapes
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
  • Perform system tuning and troubleshooting of SAP and underlying infrastructure
  • Manage user authorizations and ensure security compliance (RBAC)
  • Support system integrations in coordination with other IT teams
  • Handle system backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Work within Agile teams and participate in sprint-based activities
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience
  • Deep understanding of SAP NetWeaver, SAP BTP, and S/4HANA
  • Strong expertise in database administration (HANA and other relevant DBs)
  • Solid experience with transport management and SAP deployment tools (STMS, ChaRM)
  • Proficient in monitoring tools such as SAP Solution Manager, CALM, New Relic
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Security compliance expertise, especially with RBAC
  • Fluent English; German at least B1 level
