Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP CI-FICA or SD-FI-CA Consultant to support a long-term project for a large financial services business in Germany.
This role focuses on high-volume billing, invoicing, and financial integration, working within SAP BRIM landscapes.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FICA), with the ability to bridge billing processes and financial postings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement SAP CI-FICA solutions within complex billing environments
- Support end-to-end integration between Convergent Invoicing (CI) and FICA
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand billing, invoicing, and receivables requirements
- Configure and optimise FICA subledger processes, including contract accounts and payment handling
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP FI/CO, SD, and CI modules
- Manage high-volume billing scenarios and complex invoicing structures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing, invoicing, and financial postings
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and deployment activities
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer where required
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICA configuration and implementation
- Proven expertise in SAP CI (Convergent Invoicing) within BRIM environments
- Experience integrating CI with FICA and FI/CO/SD modules
- Solid understanding of contract-based billing and receivables management
- Experience working with high-volume transactional systems
- Ability to bridge billing processes and financial accounting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in client-facing or consulting roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)
- Prior experience in financial services or payments environments
- German language skills (nice to have but not mandatory)
- SAP certification in FI-CA / CI or related modules
