We are looking for a Snowflake Architect / DBA to lead the setup, administration, and optimisation of Snowflake environments. This role is critical in ensuring performance, governance, and cost efficiency across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Snowflake environments
- Design and implement RBAC (roles, privileges, access control)
- Oversee database and schema management
- Configure and monitor resource usage and cost optimisation
- Implement monitoring and observability for queries and warehouses
- Develop documentation, runbooks, and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new Snowflake features
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Snowflake administration and architecture
- Expertise in RBAC and security models
- Experience with database and schema design
- Knowledge of performance tuning and usage optimisation
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
