Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Solutions Architect with a strong focus on EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) to lead the design and implementation of finance planning solutions within a large-scale finance transformation programme.
This role will take architectural ownership of EPBCS-driven financial planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities, supporting the transition away from spreadsheet-based processes and enabling scalable, automated FP&A and Record-to-Report solutions.
Working closely with Finance, Technology and Delivery teams, you will shape and execute a multi-year Oracle EPM roadmap that enhances financial insight, control frameworks and decision-making through best-in-class system design.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Solution Architect and subject matter expert for Oracle EPM, with specific responsibility for EPBCS Financial Planning implementations
- Lead the architecture, design and optimisation of EPBCS solutions across planning, forecasting and reporting
- Drive system-led transformation across FP&A and Record-to-Report processes , reducing manual intervention and spreadsheet dependency
- Partner with finance and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle EPM designs
- Define and maintain solution architecture, process flows, controls and governance standards
- Support system configuration decisions, integration design and data model alignment
- Contribute to change management, stakeholder engagement and delivery assurance across the programme
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Senior Functional Lead delivering Oracle EPM implementations
- Hands-on experience implementing EPBCS for Financial Planning
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes within complex finance environments
- Experience delivering system-led finance transformation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior finance and technology leaders
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
Desirable Experience
- Experience with additional Oracle EPM modules (e.g. EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, ARCS )
- Prior consulting experience, including Big 4 or systems integrator background
- Experience defining long-term EPM roadmaps and target-state architectures
